Weekend Recap

Friday evening, we met the mister at our favorite local burger joint for dinner. They have the best burgers (and cheese fries) by far and I crave it at least once a week!! They taste just like a good homemade backyard burger should, but far better than any that we could ever make!
This time we decided to order LL her own meal. Our food came out and she had just as much food as we did! She LOVED the chicken fingers and fries and we had to sit and wait on her to continue eating long after we were done.
Saturday morning I headed to a baby shower brunch for a friend (aka--the most AWESOME secret pal that spoiled me beyond ROTTEN last year) that I had not seen in a while. She is expecting her first little girl and I KNOW (*hint, hint) that she will soon be starting her own blog so that I will be able to now keep up with her little one! The food was delicious and she received so many cute things! I can not wait to meet Miss M soon!
Saturday afternoon LL and I headed over to join the Sunday School group playdate. LL met some new friends and really enjoyed actually playing with Miss S's toys. Our host made the most delicious homemade pizza and LL enjoyed quite a lot of chicken fingers! We hope that we will be able to have another playdate again soon!
Today, we will head to church/Sunday School and possibly to grab a bite to eat for lunch. Later today, I will join LL's future MIL and the girls from our Sunday School for a "Sip N Sew". We will be working on some of the hand-appliqued shirts. However, I might actually be taking my elephant (aka aardvark) to finish for my friend.
I can't believe that this weekend is almost over! I am not quite ready to have another 5 day week at work--I know that Spring Break will not come soon enough!
