Happy 2010!!!

I can't believe that it is already 2010! Wow-how time flies!! I have really enjoyed 2009, and hope that 2010 will be even better. Sorry for the lack of post yesterday, I spent most of the day shopping of course and then came home to get ready for the evening.
We started off at one of our neighbor's homes (LL and I) visiting and watching the annual fireworks show. LL was exhausted and did not know what to think of the fireworks. She would squint her eyes to watch it and then as soon as each one exploded, she would hide her face until the next one went off, then watch it, hide her face again, etc.
After that, we came back to my parent's house and were SO SUPER excited to see the mister! We got LL ready for bed and then he and I headed downtown to ring in the new year. We mainly hung out w/ some family friends in their tent and walked around downtown some to see the entertainment. They even had their own "ball drop"! (However, I still regret not being able to attend our Sunday School's 80's New Years Bash)
Today, we have spent the day helping take down the remaining Christmas decorations, did a little relaxing, a little shopping (for mommy's early birthday present!), and then had some friends come over to visit.
The mister and my dad (Poppy) have also been enjoying watching all of the bowl games....I will be so happy when next week is over and we can take a break from football for a while--it has been an overdose!
I have also been thinking of realistic New Year's resolutions that I am likely to keep....my grandmother started LL a savings account, and I would really like to start making myself put in a little for her each month...hopefully I will remember to do that! I also hope to start paying off some debt, continue going to church regularly (as possible with our frequent travels) and do a better job w/ housekeeping. (I think that I am starting to make a few too many resolutions for myself!) I dread going back to work on Monday, but hopefully we will make it through the rest of the year with ease! Sorry this post is all over the place...I am still exhausted from staying up to ring in the new year last night (LL was not so much into our idea of sleeping in this morning)!
