Oh the life!

So much of our time is spent at home playing dress-up and watching our favorite shows. Although we try to get out of the house for at least an hour a day so that we don't go stir-crazy, we enjoy our lazy time at home oh so much!
Here is a glimpse into our daily lives. My princess diva who is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and turns into a zombie when it is on:

Week 8

After this post, I will only have 2 more weekly summer recaps:( I hope that we are able to make the most of our final 2 weeks!

On Monday, LL and I had quite the busy day of running errands all over the place. However, we started our day out right with a breakfast together at Krispy Kreme!! We both fully enjoyed it:)
On Tuesday, we enjoyed some time at the pool. Afterwards, we headed to get LL's request of a hamburger, french fries, and chocolate milk. Once in the drive-thru, I realized that I had left my debit card at a place the day before. SO we had to track it down, as well as run some other errands that afternoon.
On Wednesday and Thursday, we pretty much stayed at home trying to catch up on a little housework (which is never fully accomplished)and had a little lazy time too:)
On Friday, we enjoyed a little morning time at the pool. That evening, we enjoyed a yummy dinner including some of our faves (mine-philly cheesesteak, the misters-chili cheese burger, LL's-a hot dog) at the depot.
On Saturday, we had so much fun attending an "Under the Sea Splish Splash Birthday Bash" for a special little girl! Everything was perfect and the kids had a blast playing in the water and enjoying yummy shaved ice treats. I took my camera ready to get lots of pics, however....the battery was dead:(
On Sunday, we all overslept and missed church-oops! We also had to take the mister's car to be repaired. I got a wild idea that we should take LL to Chuck E Cheeses. Let me just say, we had a blast, but it was an interesting evening. I have never seen the place so packed!!

No guarantees!

Well, we have some big news! LL has her first gig as a flower girl possibly next fall. Yep, that's right, LL's aunt became engaged last night. I am sure that LL will be so excited, as these are two of her most favorite people on earth. However, I told my sister that there are no guarantees as to how she will perform! Hopefully, we will follow directions a little better by then and practice, practice, practice;)

Market Finds

I must admit-these photos don't do these outfits justice. I snapped them in a hurry before hanging them in her closet and didn't really worry about neatness, lighting, etc...so trust me-they are SUPER cute in person:)

This one has cute matching shorts, but I wasn't able to get them in the pic:

And this one is super crooked and the color is off, but you get the idea:

Are these not the cutest pajamas?!

Pirate Party!

Week 7

This past week flew by and was busy busy! On Monday, LL was able to enjoy a day with her friends at her daycare. During the day, I ran errands with LL's future MIL and boyfriend's baby brother. Somehow, our outings are always eventful, but we are never able to achieve all that we expect to in a timely manner:)That evening, we grabbed pizza and headed to the pool with daddy. Some friends were there and we enjoyed our night swim. On Tuesday, we headed to the pool for a little while and then headed home to get a few things done. On Wednesday, we headed to Atlanta with future MIL and had so much fun at Ikea, a Super Target, and then ate at one of our favorite restaurants (exclude the "fun" at the restaurant as LL was a terror-so much so, I wasn't even able to eat 1/2 of one of my most favorite meals). On Thursday, we headed to a delicious french bakery for breakfast and then to market to shop, shop, shop. Of course, I spent way too much on LL and had a major guilt trip afterwards. On Friday, we did a few things around the house and then headed to the lake. Although it wasn't perfect weather, it was still a wonderful trip. Photos to come soon:)
P.S.-Summer PLEASE slow down:)

Week 6

I can't believe that our 6th week of summer has come and gone! Last week was another fun week. On Monday, LL enjoyed a little pool time and watermelon at Mimi and Poppy's house before heading home. That evening, we headed to a friend's house for a 4th of July get together. We had delicious food, a great time socializing with friends who we don't get to see often enough, and an excellent view of the fireworks show from their backyard!
On Tuesday, LL and I had an errands/lazy day.
On Wednesday, LL and I headed to a fun splash pad with boyfriend, future MIL, and his baby brother. They had so many cute sprinklers and water features set up and the kids had fun. We headed to Pizza Hut afterwards to enjoy their lunch buffet-haven't done that in years!
On Thursday, we had a fun day at the pool.
On Friday, we enjoyed going to the library for story-time and then checking out some books and movies. LL LOVED being able to watch Dumbo, Peter Pan, and Lady and the Tramp. We can't wait for them to be released from the vault so that we can purchase them!
On Saturday, we had a blast at a friend's Pirate Party for his 3rd birthday. Everything was decorated SO cute and we had our first experience with a Pinata!
On Sunday, we headed to church and Sunday School and then had a lazy day at home watching the dvds from the library before returning them.

Splash Pad

Slip N Slide

She loved it!

The beach

I already miss the pool that we were able to enjoy while at the beach (especially the lazy river)! The balloon festival was also such a neat experience!

Children's Theater

I have FINALLY uploaded pics from my camera from the last few weeks. So, I will be doing some picture posts here and there to try to catch up!
Here are a few from our first experience at our children's theater. We saw and met the cast after seeing The Little Red Hen, which was absolutely adorable!

Week 5

We were so happy to be able to get out and about again last week after having been sick on the couch the entire week before.
On Monday, we headed to the zoo with boyfriend, future MIL, and his baby brother. Although it was hot, the kids had a great time and really enjoyed playing (wrestling) with one another in the foam zone pit.
On Tuesday, we headed to the pool with a sweet friend, his mom, and his precious baby sister. They had so much fun playing together, and we hope that we will be able to go again sometime soon. That evening, we headed back to the pool with some more friends and the mister.
On Wednesday, we enjoyed time at the pool again!
On Thursday, we had lunch with some friends and then headed to the mall. We had so much fun and enjoyed making a special Build A Bear to help us get through the potty training experience.
On Friday, we did some things around the house and then headed south for the weekend!
We had a fun and relaxing time this weekend and lots of yummy food. Friday night, we went to dinner with Mimi and Poppy. Saturday we enjoyed yummy shrimp and BBQ. Sunday, the girls had a fun shopping trip and then the mister and I headed out for a dinner date! LL also had fun enjoying her first experience on a Slip N Slide and splashing around in a pool in the backyard.
