Guess I would rather hack up the lung!

Last night, I started feeling MUCH better! The shot kicked in and I also got a dose of the cough medicine down before bedtime. I slept like a baby! However, as soon as I woke up, I started hacking up a lung again. I read the medication bottle and it said *use caution while trying to operate heavy machinery (does LL count?), * use caution while driving, and * may have a drowsiness/dizziness side effect...Eh, I figured that I could handle it since it seemed to work so well last night and it would be much better than coughing my head off all day again. So, I took the dosage and soon headed out the door, ready for the day. Not too long after that, it hit me--Had I just taken cough medicine or had I been slamming shots at a bar all night?! (Prob didn't help that I ran out the door w/out eating/drinking anything)

Mistake one-trying to drive while on this medication (luckily I got LL and I to our schools safely on this yucky rainy day.

Mistake two-trying to deal with kids on this medication.

I had the sensation of being super tired and feeling hungover all day. Tomorrow, I think that I will settle for the cough and possibly carrying at least one lung home with me in my purse (or take like a 1/4 of the rec dosage)!

Luckily-LL's aunt and boyfriend were kind enough to come babysit while I got a little R & R early this evening. Now we are just waiting for the mister to leave work--however, he is about to be in the doghouse if he doesn't come home soon:)
