Waiting, Waiting

Yesterday, I took LL to the doctor for her 15 month checkup. The dr's office had made a mistake and had scheduled us with the wrong doctor, so they called and asked if I could come in earlier. I said that I could not, since I had taken off a few days already this week and didn't want to use a sick day for a well visit. So, they told me that I could come in at my reg time. I show up at 3:45 for my 4:00 appointment and realize that they had changed me to 4:30.....oh well I thought, maybe they can take us early. To make a long story short, waiting, visiting with the dr, and 3 shots later, we head out the door at 6:20. Let me assure you that it is NO fun being stuck in a doctor's office for almost 3 hours with a busy 15 month old!
She tried to eat another child's chicken nuggets, ran around the place silly, took another little girl's baby doll and threw her on the floor, and rearranged the chairs 1000 times.
On top of that, I was stuck in the waiting room for an hour with multiple former students/parents, some of which were VERY awkward situations!

So, here is hoping that today will be a better day. We have lots of fun planned for our girl day and hopefully there will not be much waiting involved (although I am afraid that there will be!)
