George, Tacos, and Football

Today we had a great girls' day! After LL woke up from her nap, we headed to the local Science Center. Right when we got there, we met up w/ my best friend and her hubby for lunch, then it was off to explore! They had SO many cool things there and LL even got to meet Curious George (after waiting in a line of course!) After that she played in the little "town" designed for toddlers and also at the water table (which she LOVED)!
After that we headed to Chuck E Cheeses to meet all of my old college friends. We figured that it would be fun to go there and to let the 2 little ones play. Well, as soon as we pulled up, we noticed that the line was out the door!! I finally walked up to find out that they were having a party of 200 and they weren't letting any more in until some came out. WHO has THAT big of party at Chuch E Cheeses?! Have you never heard of renting a place out, having it at the park, etc?!
So needless to say, that plan was a bust! We headed to the nearest Mexican restaurant for chips n dip and tacos! LL LOVED her tacos!
Once we were finished eating, we headed over to my college roommate's house so that the girls could actually play while the adults chatted/watched football. They had SO much fun!
Hopefully LL will sleep well tonight!
