Wonderful and Wishful Wednesday

Here are some reasons why today is a Wonderful Wednesday:

1) My father traveled to Missouri today to meet w/ the headquarters of a large men's outdoor store. His 30 minute meeting with them turned into an almost 3 hour meeting and they have agreed to carry some of his products in all of their stores! (I can only imagine my dad in this meeting--just think Jeff Foxworthy--he is pure entertainment-especially when it comes to talking about his products and future prototypes!)

2)I will be going home this weekend for Mardi Gras! I have not been to Mardi Gras in about 5 years and I am having MAJOR withdrawals! I also can not wait to let LL experience her first parade-I think that she will be fascinated! And I am looking forward to eating at some of my favorite places as well as having some of my dad's yummy cooking-chocolate gravy anyone?

3) Thus far this week, we are all feeling much better--sure the cat is still hacking up a lung every once and a while and LL has a runny/crusty nose-but so far we are staying away from the doctors and it is the first time that I haven't had a major headache in over 2 weeks(knock on wood!)

Wishful Wednesday
Here are some things that I am wishing for:

1)Some extra money this month--I was NOT happy when the vet took all of my play money this month :(

2) A new house--this probably won't happen for another year, but I can still wish on a weekly basis-can't I? We are just BUSTING at the seams--maybe a good cleanout-o-crap this summer would help.

3) I am wishing that the rain would disappear off of the forecast for the rest of the week and that nice spring weather would come sooner than later--stupid groundhog!
