Vday Weekend

Well, we were able to get dismissed from school early on Friday. It was SO exciting to see snow actually stick to the ground! LL had a BALL running around in the snow-she LOVED it!
However, it left us quicker than it came and was basically gone Saturday. Since it was quite cold and still a little wet/snowy, the twins bday party was moved to the bowling alley. All of the kids had a blast, however LL was too young to join in on the fun. So, she of course made her own fun and ran around the place silly! She also enjoyed a basket of fries (after she went around begging others for their fries and signing "more" to them!)
We all came home from the party and took naps. We enjoyed the rest of the evening in.
Sunday, we headed to church/Sunday School. They had the cutest little Noah's Ark animals there that LL loved! They were unlike ones that I had ever seen (the zebras had fuzzy manes, the elephants had floppy ears--so cute!).
After that, we headed home and gave LL her Valentine's Day gifts. We got her a cute stuffed cat from Ikea, a How-To doll, a pasta set for her kitchen, and a few Disney classics. She had a blast constantly dumping out all of the little felt bow tie pasta pieces only for mommy to put them back so that she could do it again!
We all took naps again Sunday afternoon. It was so nice to get some rest-however, now I am a little disappointed in myself since the house did not get cleaned.
We had made plans to visit the local science museum again, but we woke up too late to make it worth our while.

**Computer update***
Our computer officially crashed last night. We lost everything. Our computer company claimed that there was nothing that they could do. We are really upset b/c we paid them a LOT of money to try to get the issue resolved w/out losing anything and they had told us that they could help. So now, we have to start again from scratch. Not only that, the computer no longer detects the internet and our internet company is saying that they can fix it for $100. The amount of money that we have spent on trying to fix this would have been enough to buy a new computer.
Not only that, we learned that we wouldn't get as much back on our tax return this year as expected. Sadly, we were depending on this money to help w/ our Disney vacation and daycare expenses (Think Clark Griswald on Christmas vacation when he had already spent the money on the pool--that is the boat that we feel as though we are in right now!)
And to top it ALL off--there is a critter in our attic---we can hear the sound of wings flapping coming out of the vent--I am scared that we may have Stella Luna in our attic--EEEKKKK!!! (Wonder how much we will have to pay someone to fix that for us?!)
Oh well---Happy Monday--this HAS to be a better week!

  1. I feel ya! Mark and I were SADLY disappointed to find out that we were breaking even on our taxes- I really thought we were going to come out like we did last year, then I realized '08 was a banner year because we had a baby. Oops- fogot about that one...good luck with the friend in your attic!
