Work To Do

We have some work to do in the Loyo household before heading to Disney in September. LL has now decided that she is terrified of larger than life animals. G_R_E_A_T!
She has always LOVED anyone and everyone, anything and everything. However, last weekend, she proved otherwise. There was a Barber's cow walking around the craft show and LL quickly waved and smiled at it. When I put her down to go "give him a hug", she quickly said told him bye-bye and tried to run the other way....she did the same with the Easter bunny....fabulous!
So today, after thinking long and hard about my willpower, I decided to head back to the store to make 2 purchases that I had not gotten off of my mind. (Although I am a little disappointed in myself, I am OH so proud that I found things that she could actually use/I felt like she needed, instead of just getting things b/c they were cute--although functional and cute and are SUPER plus!).
During my shopping time, LL was having a great time at Chuck-E-Cheeses with her aunt and aunt's boyfriend right down the street. After I finished shopping, I joined them. Chuck-E was performing, so I thought that we would go say hello. YEAH RIGHT! Terrified again! Luckily she doesn't mind getting a little close and waving, as long as you don't put her down.
So, does anyone want to dress up as Mickey, Goofy, whoever and let LL get used to these giant characters before September?! Anyone, anyone? Looks like we really have some work to do!
