Today was officially our first real day of Spring Break and we chose to enjoy it (even though we are still having Alabama's version of winter outside). We had planned a little get together last week with some friends who have little ones and we decided to continue on with those plans and meet for a playdate his morning. The kids LOVED it, even if mine was the wildest/most dramatic one there!
After that, LL headed to another friends house for a mini-playdate while mommy went to get some free hair salon services for being a teacher. It was just what I needed and it was WONDERFUL! Nothing beats the feeling of someone else scrubbing your hair and styling it for you--if I could, I would pay someone to do it everyday!
We then headed to try to find LL some Spring shoes--not so easy when you have your daddy's fat feet!
So now we are home and mommy is running around trying to throw everything in a bag. I pretty much have all of LL's clothes together, now I just have to work on myself. It is so hard to decide what to wear in this lovely "spring" cold weather. It still feels like boots and jackets, but I oh so want dresses and sandals!
Tomorrow morning we will be headed out to attend my uncle's services and spend the rest of the week with family. Not sure how much I will be able to blog--so hope everyone has a wonderful week!
