When It Rains, It Pours!

I heard this quote from a friend last night who is going through a LOT in her life right now. It seemed only fitting to make this the title since there is also a major thunder storm going on outside as I type this. Please pray for her.

Also, about 5 years ago, my uncle began to become very ill. At first they thought that it was bone cancer, but tests proved that it wasn't. 5 years later and multiple visits to some of the top hospitals around the U.S. he is dying. They still do not know for certain what it is, but they do know that he will not live much longer. He is in so much pain and my grandmother said it best to me yesterday. She said that she will no longer pray for him to live because he lives a life full of pain and several visits to the doctor/hospital a week. She now prays that the Lord will take him when he is ready and that he will not have to suffer much longer. This is extremely hard considering that the last major illness/death on my side of the family was about 27 years ago. He has a son that is just a couple of years older than me and a daughter who is a few years younger than me, who is expecting her first child-his first grandbaby, in May. She wants so badly for him to be able to meet her son, but at this point it just doesn't seem likely. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
