We Made It!

Yesterday, the teachers finally finished up the school year. It is always a huge relief to know that it is done and summer is here. LL also finished up her current class and will start a new class next week.
So, yesterday we said our good-byes and then packed up to head south! If I would have thought twice, I would have packed up and THEN picked up LL so that packing would not have been such an adventure/challenge!
However, we made it! The car rides aren't quite as simple or quiet as they once were. We want to watch movies, have snacks, drink juice, play, throw off our socks and shoes, yell "get out", etc. WHEW! Mommy has never been so ready to get out of the car herself! Hopefully things will improve before we try to conquer the Disney drive!
We are looking forward to a relaxing time with the grandparents and ourselves.
LL's great-grandmother is also staying with my parents as is her aunt and aunt's boyfriend, so she is sure to be spoiled rotten this weekend!
Her new favorite toy---her Nana's wheelchair! Thank you Aunt Lulu for introducing her to that!
