Success!

Today, LL and I headed back out to continue the dress mission. I was quite puzzled when I pulled up to Belk shortly after 10 (which is when I thought that they opended), only to see the parking lot full and people coming out of there w/ more bags that they could carry!
I ran in knowing that some great sale must be going on. Sure enough, they were having one of their morning Charity events. I hurried to the dress department and actually found SEVERAL winners. However, I had to make a quick decision b/c the sale ended at 11. I walked out w/ 2 dresses. Although they were not as deeply discounted as others that I had picked up (I got confused which one was what discounted price since I had 10-12 all from different racks-and didn't have time to run around and figure it out since I only had 4 minutes to spare by the time I got up to the cashier), I am still very pleased with the two that I had found--would have LOVED for them to have been even cheaper-but pleased nonetheless.

After that, LL headed to do some grocery shopping. In between 2 stores, we spent $88 and saved $62. Not bad (and if is wasn't for the not-on-sale-didn't-have-a-coupon diapers that we had to have, we would have broken even).
So now, LL is down for the count and I am exhausted and need to rest up before the wedding tonight (really I need to clean my house before the babysitters a.k.a LL's aunt and her other half, but resting sounds SOO much better!)
