Thursday evening, our power went out during a storm and was not turned back on until Friday evening. Thank goodness, a sweet friend of mine that lives a few minutes away let me bring some of our freezer contents to put in her deep freeze so that everything would not be ruined.
Friday evening, I re-packed my freezer and the 3 of us went to a Mexican restaurant. Of course, we saw a few people that we knew in there and LL decided to show everyone a sneak peak of her terrible twos. Needless to say, I did not eat.
Saturday morning, LL and I headed to a get together with some friends and their little ones. The kiddos had a blast, especially playing in the water features. (LL decided to show this group a few glimpses of the terrible twos as well).

Afterwards, we ran several errands on our way home.
Saturday night, my best friend came over to watch LL so that the mister and I could attend a wedding. It was a fun evening out and I was able to get yet another wear out of the dress that I purchased for the wedding a few weekends ago.
This morning, we got ready to attend church (since we have missed the past several weeks). As I was ironing our clothes and the mister was taking a shower, I noticed that things were quiet. I had given LL her toothbrush so that she would be entertained and clean her teeth (2 in 1 deal). Well, she was entertained to say the least. As I was walking down the hall, I saw her splish-splashing in the toilet with her toothbrush--LOVELY!!!
After I got her dressed, she also decided to take her shoes AND socks off so that she could wear mommy's shoes instead.
Needless to say, we were 15 minutes late to church. They had the senior dedication today and I must admit that my eyes became a little watery during the slide show as I imagined that LL would be standing up there before we know it!
Afterwards, we had lunch w/ some of our friends, came home and took naps, and then went to a friend's low-country boil to help her celebrate her birthday!
It was a great weekend, that flew by too quickly.
ONLY 4 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL!!! ....and tomorrow is track and field day--oh the fun!

I love her swimsuit!! She is a little doll. :o)
