You Win Some, You Lose Some

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a shopaholic. But I am a major bargain shopaholic. I like knowing that I get the most bang for my buck. I could have written the book "Confessions of a Shopaholic". She is me in so many ways.
So, what is the greatest deal in the past 24 hours?!:
The Vera Bradley deal of course!
Last year I started LL a "Pink Elephant" luggage collection. Ever since, I have been regretting not getting her the large duffel. Vera Bradley retired the pattern shortly after I bought everything for her and it was SO hard to come by. However, yesterday I get an email saying that the large duffel and Vera bag are $40 each in select patterns (both are usually $80 bags a piece!) Shockingly enough, Pink Elephants was on the list!! So, I ordered it and a few pieces for LL's aunt.
I was so excited to have found this deal and to complete her luggage set.
Of course, I also did my almost daily run to Target, but I have decided to no longer discuss my daily deals there since I have spent WAY to much.---However, this procrastinator has started putting some of the great deals away for Easter!! (way to get a jump start on things huh?!)

So now for the "Lose Some" part. LL's aunt came over for a while tonight and she wanted me to show her LL's kitchen. So, I get on Amazon only to see that the great deal that I snatched up about a month ago no longer seemed like a great deal. The kitchen was down $16 than what I paid for it. Darn!
I also lost a little this weekend when I was impatient w/ clothing internet shopping and did not opt for the best deal (I was more worried about getting all that I wanted, however I learned that if I would have waited, I could have gotten the exact same stuff for cheaper, as it was still in stock for the Black Friday sale).
Oh well...guess everyone has to lose some every now and then. They were still great deals.
Lesson Learned: Stop peaking in on previous deals unless you want to see a better one!
