Gobble Gobble!

Well, we made it up to the in-laws on Wednesday evening and have had a great time thus far!!
Wednesday night, we went to a local Mexican restaurant for dinner. LL LOVED all of the decor--especially the stuffed deer and the fountain. She even started pointing at the deer and saying what sounded like "deer"! Our food was very yummy and we ended it with a delicious cheesecake burrito! It was almost as good as my favorite dessert that I get at a local place back home-the cookie dough egg roll!
Yesterday we had a very yummy Thanksgiving meal with DH's family. LL was in a much better mood this year since she was actually able to enjoy the turkey!
This morning the mister and I woke up and --gasp---went Black Friday shopping!!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE that he actually got up and went with me!! That is definitely a first!!! Don't get me wrong, he has gone with me before--at like 10am vs 5 am!
We grabbed up some good deals at Wally-World and I even grabbed some pre-Black Friday deals online yesterday.
I still need to find some things for a few family members, but we are officially done with LL's Christmas shopping--unless of course I find yet another deal that she(I) can't live without!
Today we will hopefully watch the Tide roll through yet another win.
I am also going to see if I can con the mister into taking LL (me) to the local zoo/children's museum tomorrow!
