Diva Dive and Bunco

Last night I attended my first "Diva Dive" party. The idea was both entertaining to watch and a great idea. Everyone brought items that they did not want anymore, but were in good condition (clothing, jewelry, handbags, shoes, etc). Then everyone drew numbers and got to pick out 1 item from each room. They continued to do this until everything was picked over. The remaining items were donated to charity. Although I didn't bring anything home with me (I vowed not to until I clean out a LOT of stuff), it was quite entertaining! I look forward to attending the Diva Dive 2010!

Tonight, I participated in a game of Bunco. This thoughtless game is really a lot of fun and a good excuse to get together and socialize. I was hopeful that I would win some money so that I could have a little extra cash at the Christmas show tomorrow night. I started out great, but the 2nd game ruined it for me. Oh well, maybe next time!!!

I really am crossing my fingers that it doesn't end up raining Saturday. Between the scheduled outdoor wedding and bonfire that we plan on attending, it could really damper our plans!!
And let me just go ahead and give an early shout-out for tomorrow--TGIF!!!! I can't wait until my days off next week!!!!!!!
