Last night, I had a great night out with the girls. We started our evening by going to the local Junior League's Christmas show. We all were able to find something. Our favorite being the adult beverage mixes that you freeze to make slushies. They are DELICIOUS!!!
After that we headed to the local mall to eat at a trendy Chinese restaurant (one of my favorites).
They were having the "Holiday Lighting Celebration" complete with a parade and fireworks.
I witnessed some pieces of a firecracker falling onto the ground and then suddenly catching the ground on fire. It started spreading quickly and I ended up calling 911. Luckily, the police came as I was calling. Quite scary when you are stuck in traffic right next to it and can't move.
The police/firemen put the fire out and we headed to eat our yummy chinese. I tried their chicken fried rice for the first time and it was really tasty.
I hope that we will be able to do girl's nights out more often!
