Football Traditions

One of the first things that I learned about the mister was that he is a HUGE Alabama fan. During the first Fall that we spent together, I quickly learned that Saturdays were devoted to Alabama football. We would get together with friends and watch the football game at the fraternity house, at someone's apartment/house, in someone's yard on a big screen, or even go to the game.
I remember going to my first Alabama game and was AMAZED at the amount of team spirit that Bama fans have. I love going to a game to hear the crowd roar and seeing all of the crimson, white, and houndstooth!
After we were married, we had several football parties at our home complete with cooking out.
Even though football was not a HUGE part of my family's life growing up, my dad has even caught the Bama fever!
After having LL, a lot of things have changed, but Saturdays are still devoted to Alabama football. We brought LL home on a Saturday, and that is when she got her first dose of Alabama football! Daddy has a few "game day" lucky shirts and LL had to follow suit with lucky game day outfits. As previously posted, her elephant daygown was the outfit of choice every Saturday last year.

She wore it EVERY Saturday since they were on a winning streak and even had friends with similiar taste:

This year the tradition continues and LL is ready for tomorrow! She will of course be wearing this again:
