I am not thrilled with the idea of keeping my child in front of the t.v. for long periods of time. In fact, I am more interested in her learning about pretend play as she grows. There are too many children these days that have no idea how to play "pretend". When asked what their favorite thing to do is, most of the children at school will say watch t.v. or play video games.
However, sometimes it is the only thing that will hold her interest for longer than 0.2 seconds. Up until she turned one, the only thing that I would really let her watch was Baby Einstein. Our favorite is Baby Noah. Now we have added a new one to the list.

One of LL's birthday presents was the Backyardigans Singing Sensation. I must admit, a lot of the songs on here are really cute. Of course, I won't let her sit and watch the entire thing in one sitting. But, it is fun to have the songs on in the background as we play.
