Party Planner

Today we had a great visit with LL's 3 honorary aunts (3 of my college roommates) and honorary cousin. We also said goodbye to aunt and boyfriend as they headed back south. The weekend has flown by and I can't believe that I have to go back to work in the morning.
Some exciting news--I received LL's birthday outfit in the mail this past week. (I will not be posting a picture--you will just have to wait and see pics of her in it after the big day!) As much as I LOVE planning fun things (parties, trips, etc), this one is very bittersweet. I can't believe that almost a full year has gone by since my baby was born.
Everything I have read says "keep the 1st birthday simple". However,when I plan, nothing is ever simple!! We already have some big/crazy ideas as to what we want to do and one of them is that LL will be having at least 2 parties. Yes, you heard me right! We have decided to throw LL a birthday party in my hometown since I have such a large group of friends and family down there that we want to include in the big celebration and who would not be able to make the trip up here.
I already have the invites picked out and we will be ordering/sending those out before the month is over (once I have finalized/figured all of the details)! I better get to planning!
