Bye Bye Summer

I can't believe that these are my last 2 days of summer. It has FLOWN by!! Sadly, I have hardly had any time with LL this week b/c I have been setting up my classroom. The next two weeks are the ones that I dread the most. I LOVE my job, but in kindergarten world, it is pure survival mode during the first two weeks. You have kids crying, yelling, getting lost, learning what "no" means for the first time, etc. You have ones that have literally just ventured out of mommy's lap for the first time and ones that know WAY too much. (There are also PRECIOUS moments during the first two weeks as well )..It is a learning experience for us all! I have never been so exhausted as I am each afternoon of the first 2 weeks of school (well, last year topped all when I was over 7 months preggers during the first 2 weeks-can't believe that I survived!) This year will be especially hard, as I have to get back into the routine of LL going to daycare full time. Blogging may slow down for a little while, but hopefully it will pick back up after I re-gain some energy... I can't believe that I won't be able to see this precious face during the day.

Next mission--starting to plan LL's first birthday-I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT IT HAS ALMOST BEEN A YEAR!!!!
