We have had a wonderful weekend. Friday night we were treated to a date night thanks to our church having a Parents' Night Out. We were able to go eat at one of our most favorite local nice restaurants (who just so happen to have the world's best crab cakes-trust me, I have eaten MANY crab cakes and these are the best) and only had to pay $5 for childcare-woohoo!!! We went with 4 other couples and it was so nice to actually be able to have socialize and have conversations without yelling over 9 children.
On Saturday, we attended an absolutely beautiful wedding. It was in one of the prettiest churches in our downtown area and the reception was held in a cool art gallery. The entertainment was a 16 piece orchestra and the food was outstanding!! Two of my college roommates kept LL for us during the wedding, and she has talked about them non-stop ever since. Luckily, she will be able to spend plenty of time with them in a few weeks since we are all going to the beach together.
Today, we attended church and Sunday School and then enjoyed a lunch at Texas Roadhouse. I tried their Beef Tips with Rice for the first time and was very impressed! We were invited to a "Hockey Party" hosted by our Canadian friend this afternoon. Unfortunately, LL took a long nap after lunch (as well as two other people) and we missed it:(
I hope that everyone had a fabulous weekend! Only 5 more days/4 with students--WOOOOOOHOOOOO!!! I think I can, I think I can!
