Happy Mother's Day!!

I hope that every mother out there has had a fabulous Mother's Day. This is always a tender holiday to my heart, as I remember those who are not able to celebrate with their children here on Earth, are still longing to be mothers, have lost their children way too soon, etc. I hold a special place for each and every one of you in my heart and hope that somehow, somebody was able to make this day special just for you.
Although I was not able to celebrate with them today, I am so fortunate to have my mother and two wonderful grandmothers who leave impressions on me as I continue my journey through motherhood and are all I long to be. I am fortunate for my mother-in-law and to have had the opportunity to meet one of the most amazing women in my lifetime, the mister's grandmother.
I have several other non-related phenomenal women out there who are excellent role models and have all of the qualities that I hope to have as a mother.
Happy Mother's Day to you all!!
Today, the mister and LL made my day super special. We started the day off by going to a wonderful church service, in which struck a chord with me in reminding me where exactly I need to be spending my time. We then headed to a yummy brunch and then to the zoo! We ended our outing with a stop to a delicious frozen yogurt shop!
Here are a few photos from the zoo. LL LOVED the carousel, water features, and the foam pit!

And I have to leave you with this one brag....an absolutely PERFECT flower....in my flower bed! I give all credit for whatever happens in there to the mister since I have a brown thumb...but we have never had something spring up that is this beautiful!
