Afterwards, we all came home to change and then headed to one of our favorite old spots for brunch! LL had the fruit, muffin, and bacon and she ate every last bite of it! I had their chicken salad, hot German potato salad, fruit w/ poppy seed dressing, and a muffin--delish!!
Next, we headed to the zoo! It was WAY too hot to visit the zoo, however, we wanted to get at least one more visit in since our membership expires at the end of this month. We were able to see the new "exhibit" where they train and feed the lions. It was super cool to be able to see them SO close and interacting with the trainers!
We were also able to go in to the exhibit with the kangaroos and walk on a trail in order to see them up close! Of course we ended with a train ride and a ride on the carousel! And all came home to nap at the end of her day!
