10 Things Tuesday

Since I don't have any new pics to share, I thought that I would share some things about the Loyos by doing "10 Things Tuesday"
So here you go!
10 Things about me:

1)I have a sister who is 9 years younger than me, although everywhere we go people ask if we are twins. (However, during our last Publix trip together, the teenage cashier asked if I was her mom-I wanted to slap him.)

2)I LOVE planning fun things--birthday parties, trips, etc. I think that once I retire, I may become an event planner or own a children's boutique--who knows!

3)I LOVE anything smocked, appliqued, or monogrammed. It is basically all that I will put LL in. She is only young once and I can only dress her this way for a few years:)

4) I am a special education teacher. I actually received my degree in elementary ed (k-6) and special education as a requirement of my college (2-in-1 deal). I was terrified when I accepted my job, however, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world now.

5) I am addicted to Law & Order SVU-I am completely worthless when they run a marathon (such as they are doing today).

6) I also love reality tv (although I usually read the spoilers ahead of time and know that so much of it isn't reality).

7) I STRONGLY dislike cleaning. I wish that I could hire a maid.

8) Some of my favorite things to eat are filets, french fries, pickles, philly cheese steaks (without onions/peppers), desserts and fruit (I had to throw something good in there!)

9) My favorite drink is sweet tea-preferably Milos over crushed ice. I have also started frequenting Sonic this summer for Happy Hour--they also have the crushed ice:)

10) I love to shop, although I refuse to buy things full price. I also get super excited to receive packages in the mail--even if it is something that I have ordered for LL or myself.

Maybe next Tuesday I will feature 10 things about LL!
