Well, our big spring fundraiser of 2010 is finally over! It was such an emotionally exhausting weekend. It is amazing to watch people run in after waiting in line for several hours to get a ticket (some typically camp out to be one of the first in line) in order to get their first washer/dryer, couch, etc. for their homes. It is amazing how many people come to this event and the variety of people that you meet.
There are people who touch your heart, and others that just seem heartless. All in all, it was a great event. However, I am glad that this weekend is over so that I can get back to attempting to clean my house and spend some time with my family.
The mister and LL had some great quality bonding time this weekend, however, I think that they are glad that mommy is back too!
