Last and First Week

Although my brain is a wash right now and I can't remember EXACTLY what we did each particular day during our final week of summer, I can tell you that we spent time having play dates with friends, enjoying our final days at the pool, going to the science center, and even getting in a family visit from my mother-in-law and the mister's grandfather. We also spent some time running errands and getting everything ready to help host a baby shower, which was held on Saturday.
On Sunday, we ran several errands together and had a yummy lunch, at a Southern-style local restaurant.
Last week, we headed back to school. I look forward to a wonderful year, although I am sad that our summer has ended. I have a new set of kiddos to get to know, as does LL.

This weekend, we had a girls' weekend at the lake with all of my best friends from college. While we were away, the mister made his first attempt to tile our guest bathroom. He did pretty well for his 1st time ever, and we hope that it will just get better with practice (especially since our bathroom and the kitchen are next!).
