We have been battling minor sicknesses in the Loyo house over the past 2 weeks, so I have been pretty bad about posting.
I am going to use this post to catch up on a few things that we have been doing and that I have been thinking about lately.
First of all, we took LL to her 2nd trip to the circus on Sunday. This year's trip was SO much better due to closer seats. She LOVED the elephants and also LOVED the $20 light that we were suckered into as well as the "circus food" that was also a rip-off.
Secondly, I started meeting back with my Bible Study girls on Monday and it was SO nice to have mommy time and to spend time with such wonderful women.
Now, I know that this is random, but I have been thinking a lot lately about how fast LL has been growing into a little lady lately and how bad I have been about recording things that she is doing. Especially with her language development. Although she is still fairly quiet for a toddler, she has really started talking around the house and saying several phrases. Before I forget how she says things, I would like to post a few:
"Kicky Ow" is still Mickey Mouse
"Ninnie" = Minnie
"Ticken" = Chicken
"Pish" = Fish
"Pinch Pies" = French Fries
"Tinky" = Poop
"Bambaid" = bandaid
"Dat" = That
"Teetua" = Pizza
"Nana" = Banana or Nana
"Nene" = Mimi
"Tissy" = Kiss
"Torry" = Sorry
"Ty" = Cry
"Tinkle" = Star
"Shoc" = Chocolate
"Ocean" = Lotion
"Ticker" = Sticker
"Scuse Me" or "Scuse You" = Excuse me/you
"Ninnie Da Pooh" = Winnie The Pooh
She also says several other words that are very clear such as: doggy, night night, moon, mama, daddy, doggie, boyfriend's name, baby, hi, no, all gone, all done, mine, I want it, bye bye, cup, eat, more, potty, outside, sit, down, up, apple, shoe, sock, bow, hat, (several body parts, articles of clothing, animals, a variety of toys, some colors, letters, numbers, etc)
I am very proud of how we are progressing and hope that we continue to grow in this area:)
I also want to take the time to lift up some prayer requests in this post, as I have a very heavy heart for several friends right now:
-Baby Emme, as she was taken to a children's hospital today in order to find out what has been going on the past several months with the seizures, other sicknesses
-Baby Ella as her body still tries to accept the bone marrow transplant
-The Torres family, who lost their baby in the fall to SIDS
-Jennifer, a friend who lost her father day
As well as a few other unspoken ones.
