Last weekend LL and I headed down south in order to attend a surprise birthday for one of my oldest and dearest friends. We have known each other for 25 years and our moms went to school together as well. It was so much fun being a part of her special day and LL really enjoyed playing with all of her girls' toys. I can only hope that LL will be able to have and make life long friendships like I have. They become more and more special the older we get.
We also enjoyed shopping with Mimi while we were home and enjoying some of Poppy's yummy food. LL definitely has her grandparents wrapped around that little finger, especially her Poppy.
Next weekend, we will get to experience our 2nd annual Mardi Gras. I know that she will absolutely LOVE it this year:) Hopefully I will be able to take some pics and finally upload some new ones on this poor old blog of mine!
