Mommy Means Business!

We are FINALLY starting to make a little progress in the discipline area. I was BEYOND mortified the other week when her teacher told me that they were having major problems at school, so it was time for this mom to put her foot down. Up until this point LL has laughed even at the thought of time-out, spanking, etc.
So, it was time for me to pull out another trick-the spanking spoon. I only had to use it once and now she knows that I mean business. She will actually now put herself in her designated time-out spot at home (a rug by the door) and tell herself no-no-no if she sees me getting the spoon. I promise that I don't "beat" or "abuse" my child. However, being a teacher, I know that every child is different and this will be nipped before she gets any older and out of control.
Now we just have to work on what to do in public/at other people's houses:)
