God's Best Surprise

On March 13, 2013, the mister and I learned some long awaited news...we would be expecting another miracle from God! Approximately three weeks later we would hear the sweetest sound, the heartbeat. We announced to LL and the rest of our family and friends towards the end of the first trimester on May 2nd, after hearing the heartbeat again and confirming that all was well. In June, we had the big ultrasound to make sure that baby was forming as expected. We chose to not find out what the gender would be until birth. How often does one truly get such an amazing surprise in life? Over the next few months, we (I) searched for the perfect bedding, furniture, clothing,accessories, and baby gear. Although LL was early on convinced that she was having a sister, she soon changed it to a brother and everyone was convinced that we would welcome a boy into our lives come November. On November 8th, we were finally able to have our surprise revealed as we welcomed the new addition into our lives (via quite an amazing and unique delivery)...a precious baby girl! Over the past few months we have been adjusting to being a family of 4. We had an amazing holiday season with our family and friends. This week was another milestone as LL2 began daycare and I returned to work.
