2nd Week of Summer

We have been busy, busy this past week and I have a lot of pictures to post. I am quickly learning that it would be much easier to start doing daily posts again, but that probably won't happen just yet. So, I will tell all about our week in this post, and then have a photo only post next-who knows when that will be since it is taking FOREVER to upload the 150 photos-no worries, won't post THAT many:).
So last Monday, we had fun at the pool with some friends. We hope to invite them, as well as others, back with us in the near future:)That evening, the mister set up LL's sprinkler and she had a blast!
On Tuesday, LL and I decided to have a stay at home day-the first one of summer! We played in the backyard forever in our little pool and had some fun with some sidewalk chalk.
On Wednesday, we ran several errands. LL was such a trooper, although at times she pulled out the terrible twos in full force.
On Thursday, LL was able to play at her caregiver's house with some of her friends and had a "water day", while mommy cleaned up the house. That evening, LL's Granna came down.
On Friday, we had a very hot trip to the zoo. However, a lot of the animals were out and about, so LL was able to get up-close to several of them. She also was able to enjoy running around on the splash-pad as we enjoyed the shade! We then enjoyed a yummy lunch and headed home to rest. After we were all up, LL enjoyed some playtime outside with her Granna before she had to head back home. That evening, we enjoyed a yummy dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant followed by a trip to Coldstone.
Bright and early on Saturday morning, I headed to boyfriend's house to help get everything ready for his 3rd birthday! Soon after, the mister brought LL over and the festivities began! The kids had a blast and the birthday party was beyond perfect! The theme was "Cars" and future MIL left out no detail-it was precious!
That evening, we headed to BWW to have dinner with some friends.
On Sunday, LL had her 2nd tea party photo shoot! We enjoyed these SO much last year, that we decided to do them again. My VERY talented photographer friend took the photos and I know that they will be precious! Later that day, we headed to the pool for some fun-filled family time and then grilled burgers for dinner.
We have a LOT of fun planned for this week, but that of course will be in another post-probably next week! Stay tuned for some precious pictures of week 2!
