Easter had always had a special place in my heart. However, I must admit that it is so much meaningful now that I have a child of my own. It absolutely amazes me to know that Jesus died on the cross for US. Not just me, not just you, not just her, us!! It comforts me to know that LL might come to a few forks in the road during her lifetime where she might not end up making the right choices, but because Jesus died on the cross, she can be forgiven and still have a chance for an eternity in Heaven. Amongst all of the egg hunts, visits w/ Easter bunnies, filling baskets, etc....let us all remember what this day is all about and rejoice!!
