The rest of spring break flew by as usual and we had SO much fun making memories. On Wednesday, we headed to the Science museum to meet the Backyardigans! LL was SUPER excited to see them. Although we waited in a long line, she did very well and gave each one a big hug once it was her turn:)
Thursday, we headed down with LL's boyfriend, future mother-in-law, and baby brother to the coast. We had a blast at the 59th annual Arts and Crafts Festival and I was also able to shop shop shop at the outlets. We also enjoyed yummy seafood at a local grill and the kiddos loved playing in the huge sandpit. On Friday, two great friends and their little ones met us at my parent's house. All together, we had 4 adults (well I guess 8 if you want to count aunt, aunt's boyfriend, and my parents) and 5 kids. I think that it gave my parents flashbacks to the annual slumber parties that they were crazy enough to let us have growing up:) They had so much fun running around wild together and on Saturday, we all enjoyed the beautiful sunshine at the festival and then lunch at the park. However, I did not realize until we returned that I had not taken a single pic :(
Saturday evening, all of our guests left and we were treated to dinner and shopping by Mimi and Poppy. On Sunday, we had breakfast with a dear friend and her precious two little girls. Spring Break was a blast, but now the countdown to Summer 2011 (and Disney 2011) is on!...Speaking of--all of our dining reservations are now booked!
