Last week, I entered a new decade. I was a little bummed at first because we did not receive the snow that we were expected to receive. Instead,we were iced in. However, I was lucky enough to get a day off on my birthday:) It was nice to spend a pajama day at home with the mister and LL. I was also able to enjoy a delicious cookie cake!
The weather seemed to create more problems, and my planned girls trip was cancelled as a result of it. However, it then turned into a family trip!
On Friday morning, I enjoyed heading over to Atlanta with my sister (and her other half) for a day full of shopping. I got some great deals on 2 dresses, an outfit, and a swimsuit for LL as well as some accessories and two tops for me!
That evening, the mister and LL met up with us for a yummy meal at The Cheesecake Factory. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious meal at La Madeleine and then headed to the Georgia Aquarium.
Although LL enjoyed it, she was constantly on the move, and we were finished well before we had planned. So, we decided since the two of them did not want to endure shopping with mommy and since it was too cold to do anything outdoors, we headed to Babyland General in Cleveland to see where all of the Cabbage Patch Kids are born. Although the concept was still a little too much for LL, we all enjoyed it (especially mommy who was OBSESSED with CPK dolls growing up)!
We picked out one to take home and then met up with the grandparents for a yummy meal at Maggianos. The next day, we ate brunch at Garrisons and then headed home!
We had a WONDERFUL time and all in all, I ended up having a pretty awesome birthday after all!
Hopefully, pictures to come!
