Day 2

I guess that we started Day 2 by the grandparents joining us (they came EARLY Thursday morning--between 1-2am). Luckily LL slept through their arrival, however, she was ready to get up and moving much earlier than the rest of us that day!
Once we were all ready, we heading to Animal Kingdom. This was the first time that I had ever been to this park. We started off by watching the Lion King show and then headed to Camp Mickey to meet some characters!
Next, the grandparents treated us to a yummy exciting lunch at the Rainforest Cafe'. This was also my first time here, and it was a treat in itself! We then headed to the Tree of Life to watch the 3d Bug show. It was SO neat!
Next, we tried to cram in as much as we possibly could, once we realized that we only had about 2 1/2 more hours until the park closed (they close at 5). We did as much as we could in Dinoland, headed through a few other "lands" and then ended with the Safari, which was such a neat experience.
We were not able to do a few things at this park due to running out of time, but we will be sure to start with those next time!
LL's favorite: Dino spin, meeting the characters, and the Lion King Show.
Mine and the mister's favorite: Expedition Everest-we could have ridden it 1,000 more times!
We ended the evening with a dinner at the Animal Kingdome lodge's Boma (after all going back to shower and change). The food was a unique experience, and the dessert bar was AMAZING!
